Description:
York is seeking one (1) qualified Proponent for the supply, delivery, installation and training of one (1) X-Ray Irradiator for the Stem Cell Engineering Lab at York University. The Proponents should be able to demonstrate that their instrument is capable of sterilizing (25 kGy) samples of six (6) 96 well microtitre plates (dimensions approx.85 mm x 130 mm x 20 mm). Furthermore, the equipment will be able to complete the irradiation process within 12-36 hours.
The budget for this system, including shipping, warranty, installation, and training, is approximately $175,000 CAD (inclusive of 3.41% tax rate). The budget provided is for reference purpose only. The University reserves the right to award a contract at a lower or higher price.
