Description

The project will consist of the addition of a UPS to allow the VIA Call Centre (VCC) to be covered in case of any power shortage. Ventilation (heat-pump equipment) will also be added to cover for the heat rejection of the new UPS.

Mandatory Requirement

1/ Insurance
Tenderer has the following minimal insurance coverage:

Commercial General Liability Insurance of [$5,000,000]
Standard Owners Form Automobile Liability Insurance of [$2,000,000]
All Risks insurance policy

Tenderer is requested to provide proof of meeting these insurance requirements by submitting a copy of their existing certificate in this Form of Tender.

2/ Letter of Credit and bid bond or Bond Requirements
       a. Bid Bond (10%)
       b. Performance Bond (50%)
       c. Material/Labour Bond (50%)

Provide a letter signed by an authorized representative of a recognized financial institution, stating that if the Tendered is awarded the contract they will issue a letter of credit for an amount equivalent to 50% of the value of the initial yearly contract fee and each subsequent contract year. Bid Bond issued in favour or VIA dated and signed by an authorized representative of the Surety
Or

(a) Bid Bond issued in favour or VIA dated and signed by an authorized representative of the Surety

(b)& (c) Tenderer to provide VIA with a letter issued in favour or VIA dated and signed by an authorized representative of the Surety stating that if the Tender is successful, insurance policies in accordance with the contract will be issued following contract award.

3/ Site Visit
The Tenderer must sign on Site Visit Register.

4/ Experiences
General Contractor must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in similar project.
Subcontractors must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in their related expertise of work.

5/ Date of completion of Work
The works must be substantially completed within 18 weeks upon the contract award date.
To show the date of end of works in your schedule including the key dates.

6/ Commitment to respect all requirements and specifications
The Tenderer confirms his offer complies with VIA requirements and commits to respect them during the entire project duration.
