The resurfacing of the concourse roof includes the addition of a finishing membrane on the zone indicated on the drawings. Work includes preparation of the roof surface and application of the new membrane. This operation will be done on the parapet, mechanical curb and skylight curb. The membrane will be stopped below the flashing as indicated on the drawings. Electrical wiring located on the roof will have to be temporarily relocated for the work and an antenna and its base will have to be demolish and removed as indicated on the drawings.
In order to submit a Tender, the Tenderer must comply to the following mandatory criteria:
1)Tenderer has the following minimal insurance coverage and is requested to provide proof of meeting these insurance requirements by submitting a copy of their existing certificate in this Form of Tender or a letter/email from an insurance broker/company stating that they will insure the Tenderer is a contract is awarded:
-Commercial General Liability Insurance of [$5,000,000]
-Standard Owners Form Automobile Liability Insurance of [$5,000,000]
-All Risks insurance policy
2)Provide a letter signed by an authorized representative of a recognized financial institution, stating that if the Tendered is awarded the contract they will issue a letter of credit for an amount equivalent to 50% of the value of the initial yearly contract fee and each subsequent contract year.

Bid Bond issued in favour or VIA dated and signed by an authorized representative of the Surety and to provide VIA with a letter issued in favour or VIA dated and signed by an authorized representative of the Surety stating that if the Tender is successful, the bonds in accordance with the contract will be issued following contract award. (Performance Bond – 50%, Labour & Material Payment Bond – 50%)
3)Be present at the site visit on October 13th 2016 at 9:00AM at VIA's Ottawa Train Station, 200 Tremblay Road, Ottawa in front of ticket office
4)Must be able to complete all the work described in Appendix A before November 17, 2016
