The general scope of work covers the supply of all labour, material, equipment and superintendence to undertake a siding extension project in Brockville subdivision.
To be able to submit a tender, the tenderers must comply with the following mandatory requirements:
1)Tenderer has the following minimal insurance coverage:
-General Liability Insurance of $5,000,000 per occurrence;
-Automobile Liability Insurance of $5,000,000;
-All Risks insurance policy.
2)Be present at the mandatory site visit
3)Letter of Credit and a 10% Bid Bond

Bond Requirement as percentage of Contract Prices:
Bid Bond 10%
- Performance Bond – 50%
- Labour & Material Payment Bond – 50%
4)Tenderer must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in railway construction or maintenance.
5)Project manager must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in railway project management.
Lead Foreman must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in the railway industry.
6)All works described in Part B, Appendix A must be completed no later than March 31, 2020.
7)Tenderer to provide WSIB certificate
