Description

This RFP is issued by UVic to obtain Proposals from qualified suppliers wishing to supply a Seafloor GPS network (also known as GPS-Acoustic System or GPS-A system). The GPS-A system consists of acoustic transponders placed on seafloor benchmarks deployed at the sites where plate motion will be monitored by periodically. The GPS-A System is required by Ocean Networks Canada, as part of the Northern Cascadia Subduction Zone Observatory (NCSZO) project, for the purpose of monitoring long-term tectonic movements and deformation. Refer to Part 1, Appendix 1-1 Requirements for details.
