Description

This RFSQ is issued by UVic to obtain Responses from qualified contractors for inclusion on a prequalified bidder list for the Engineering Expansion project.
UVic requires a proponent team to have the qualifications, experience, and resources available to deliver two mass timber buildings within a reasonable construction time frame. Respondents should have completed three (3) to five (5) relevant projects in the past 10 years which are officially credited to their firm and that specifically demonstrate that the proponent has direct experience with construction of mass timber buildings of a comparable complexity, use, and size to the Engineering Expansion project. At least one relevant project should be a “High Building” as defined by the BC Building Code.
