Description:
This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of Isoelectric Focusing (IEF) System as further described in the RFP.
A capillary column based isoelectric focusing (IEF) system is required for rapid pI determination and analysis of protein isoforms. The system should perform free solution isoelectric focusing in a capillary column with direct detection of the protein isoforms. This system combines the resolution of traditional gel Isoelectric Focusing (IEF) with the advantages of quantitation and automation applied in liquid chromatography
The system applications should include pI determination, charge heterogeneity analysis, quantitation of charge isoforms, protein quantitation, and identity and purity analysis of biopharmaceuticals. It should be suitable for a wide range of molecules, antibodies and immunoglobulins, antibody drug conjugates, fusion proteins, recombinant and purified proteins and peptides.
The system should demonstrate good value for money, balancing high performance with ease of use, minimal training, minimal maintenance and easy access to long-term technical support.
