DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Elevator Modernization Ramsey Wright Laboratories. The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation.  An electronic auction is not anticipated.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

APPLICABLE TRADE AGREEMENTS
This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):
The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, Chapter 19
The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9
 
CONTRACT DETAILS
Four (4) years contract (the “Term”) including:
For Construction period:
Estimated commencement date: April 2020
Site Mobilization:  June 2020
Substantial Completion: March 2021
For Maintenance period: 3 years monthly on anniversary of substantial completion of total construction work (all 2 elevators and 1 freight elevator and associated upgrades as per specification) – refer to  Scope of Work Attachment 1-Schedule F
 
PREQUALIFICATION
Proponents who do not achieve a minimum score of 30 out of 50 points for the evaluation criteria will not proceed to the Financial Submission Requirements evaluation and will receive no further consideration.
