Description:
The University is requesting two automated ultraviolet (UV) imaging systems specifically designed for nanolitre protein and membrane protein (lipidic cubic phase) crystallization experiments. This system is required to completely automate and streamline the storage, high throughput imaging and analysis process of crystallization experiments.

The successful Proponent should provide the following:

One automated UV imaging system with a storage unit capable of holding at least 180 SBS-format or low profile SBS-format 96-well plates in a temperature controlled and low vibration environment;
One automated UV imaging system capable of operation in a 4°C cold room environment;
The two automated UV imaging systems should have excellent optical resolution in both visible and UV spectrum to image nanolitre volume drops in a variety of SBS- and LCP-plate formats;

Time-Frame for Delivery/Duration of Agreement[3]:
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of the University to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions four (4) additional one (1) year terms.
It is anticipated that the agreement will be executed around December 2017
