DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The Chemical and Physical Sciences Department at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) is seeking proposals for the supply of a high performance Fourier Transform (FT) Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer in a company benchtop system. The equipment will be used for a wide range of experiments in teaching laboratories at UTM for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students. It will also be used in synthetic laboratories for sample identification and as a technique in an Analytical laboratory. 

Multi-Product Category Submission and Evaluation: Proponents may choose to submit a proposal to one or more of the multi product categories in this RFP as follows:
Category A – 80 Mhz NMR spectrometer
Category B – 90 Mhz NMR spectrometer
Category C – 100 Mhz NMR spectrometer
The University will be evaluating the proposals received for all categories, with the intention to award one (1) contract to the highest scoring Proponent among the categories which will provide the best value to the University.

The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation.  An electronic auction is not anticipated.
