DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT

The University of Toronto, Mississauga Campus is issuing  this RFP for Fire Extinguisher and Hose Inspection, Repair and Maintenance.

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by Facilities Management and Planning, at the University of Toronto Mississauga (“UTM”) on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of monthly and annual inspection, testing and maintenance of Fire Extinguishers and Fire Hoses

The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

ADDRESS AND FINAL DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS
Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before April 2, 2020 (2:00:00 PM local time).

The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation:
Proponents that do not achieve the minimum scores in the sections indicated below may not be eligible for consideration further in the RFP Process.

The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9

CONTRACT DETAILS
It is anticipated that the Agreement will be executed in April 2020.
