The University is planning to purchase the Leica Absolute Tracker AT960-SR from Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Canada Ltd. This laser tracker is essential for ensuring the absolute position of the cable-assisted robotic system’s end effector. To the research team’s knowledge, Hexagon Manufacturing is the sole distributor of this product which is the one source that can recover the interrupted line of sight automatically.
