Description

The University of Calgary intends to purchase the DISCO Model DAD 3221 automatic dicing saw. The main purpose of the equipment is the dicing of piezoelectric ceramics, mostly PZT. The system has special mount sets to allow the research team to hold parts with different shapes, not necessarily a typical waffle, since the transducers can be circular or square.
To the university’s knowledge, DISCO is the sole supplier of equipment that has the technical capabilities best suited for the research. Details included in the ACAN document.
