Description

The Work of the Contract consists of the supply of all required equipment, labour and materials, except as supplied by TTC, necessary to perform the various tasks involved. This includes planned and emergency repairs, installation, removal and or replacement of 600 volt DC positive and negative traction power cables, and high and low voltage AC power cables, their protection systems, distribution networks, duct banks, aerial supports and bus distribution systems used for all TTC subway and streetcar operations. All Work is to be performed in accordance with TTC’s general practices and standards as well as all rules and guidelines or industry standards as specifically provided for on Contracts or as provided during the course of the Work or emergency response.
