Description

The TTC requires a comprehensive study to explore the possibility and feasibility of replacement of existing Precast Concrete Tunnel Liners (PCTLs) that was originally constructed from 1960s. Respondents are encouraged to suggest various options throughout the scope of work set out in the RFP to achieve the end objectives which include:

The Criteria for ratings of existing PCTLs that would trigger the replacement.
The replacement strategy of existing deteriorating PCTLs.
Assessment of TTC operation environment and constructability of PCTL Replacement under TTC operation environment.
Review and evaluation of design options and the development of the final preliminary design together with recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative comparison including life cycle analysis of each option. Alternative solutions if the feasibility study proves the goal of PCTL replacement is not achievable
