The TTC currently handles its Disability and Claims Management processes internally within its Occupational Health & Claims Management Section (OHCM). This section’s primary functions include all aspects of Disability Case Management and Return to Work processes (including short term disability, long term disability and WSIB),  assisting in absence related matters, Health & Wellness promotion and multiple Medical Surveillance Programs as well as Fitness for Duty (including drug and alcohol testing program). In order to effectively manage these programs under the framework of our Early and Safe Return to Work, the TTC requires the services of an in-house Medical Consultant that will promote and maintain the highest degree of physical, mental and social well-being of employees in all occupations; identify and provide recommendations regarding prevention of health problems.
