This Request for Bid (RFB) is for the supply of tread brake unit (TBU) kits used on Toronto Rocket (TR) Subway vehicles. Currently, the only approved manufacturers for this requirement are KNORR and BOMBARDIER. However, TTC may consider alternate manufacturers for future requirements. Therefore, all Companies are encouraged to submit a Bid.
