Goals
Our goal with this RFP is as follows:
• To select a qualified Proponent with the products, services, qualifications, and resources to successfully undertake either option of this project.
• To provide a fully PCI compliant and secure service that covers the scope of work (see Scope) as detailed below with the equipment list for each of our parking entrances and exits and other locations.
• To select a Proponent who is able to provide service support that is quick to respond remotely and/or on-site 7/24 as needed (please provide information on expected response times and any limitations).
• To select a Proponent whose parking management system is able to properly calculate our parking rates that change two to four times during the day and might include vehicles that park crossing midnight into next day (where we do not want our customers to be charged for two days if they are here from 11pm to 1am).
3.1.1. Option 1 – the “Least Cost Option”
• Proponents to provide the costed equipment purchase requirements to control the current parking management infrastructure, keeping as much equipment as possible for continued use) with no loss of functionality. The Proponent, in their Proposal, would need to clearly state what equipment can continue to be used, and what would need to be replaced. All equipment, software, etc. that would need to be replaced is to be clearly itemized and a cost for this option provided. Cut sheets, with photos, of all components that would need to be purchased for

this option are to be provided by the Proponent in their Proposal. Clearly mark that the list is for Option 1.
3.1.2. Option 2 – the “Complete System Refresh Option”
• Proponents to provide a list of all equipment for a full refresh of the system (columns, gates, cameras, signage, software, etc.) to provide the same functionality as TPASC’s current system. The Proponent, in their Proposal, will specify the list of all equipment that will be replaced with a cost for this option provided. Cut sheets, with photos, of all components that would need to be purchased for this option are to be provided by the Proponent in their Proposal. Clearly mark that this list is for Option 2.
