Description

SUEZ operates a disposal well (CSL ETHEL 100/13-06-067-08W5/00) under an approval from the Alberta Energy Regulator. The disposal well is approximately 1830 m in depth with a fiberglass tubing to transport waste to the underground well within a steel casing to protect the fiberglass line. Between the steel casing and fiberglass piping (e.g. annulus), an inhibited water solution is present throughout the entire length of the injection well to prevent against corrosion and serve as a leak detection mechanism. Recently we have performed packer test and slick line test. The test identified that we have tubing leaking.

This work over will pin point the leak and repair the leak.
