This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Triple Quadrupole ICP-MS, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).
SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.
This Contract is for the supply of an instrument that measures excited atoms through an inductively coupled plasma (ICP) technique using mass spectrometry (MS). This instrument will be equipped with multiple quadrupoles to aid in the removal of interferences that can be present while using this measurement technique. This analytical instrument will provide support in the way of quality control, quality assurance, and troubleshooting at various SaskPower powerplants through the analysis of water, wastewaters, amines, oils, lubricants, and assortment of other sample types.
