This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Substation Control Buildings – Beechy & Prince, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).
SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.
The scope of work is for the design, supply, and installation of two new substation control buildings for the following substations:
- Beechy Substation
- Prince Substation
Location:
The new 230-25 kV Beechy Substation site is a greenfield site located at NW ¼ Sec 16 – 22 – 12 – W3M (Latitude: 50.876 and Longitude: -107.618) which is around a three (3) hour fifteen (15) minute drive Northwest of Regina and under 20 km West of the village of Beechy.
The new 138-25 kV Prince Substation site is a greenfield site located at NE ¼ Sec 20 – 46 – 16 – W3M (Latitude: 52.989 and Longitude: -108.279) which is around a one (1) hour thirty (30) minute drive Northwest of Saskatoon and under 10 km Northeast of the hamlet of Prince.
