Description

The intent of this project is to restore the integrity of the CW return piping and associated structures in the Pumphouse. Concrete of a typical pump well in the pump house shows a band of 4 feet which is scaling and exposed aggregates near the high water line. This portion of the project requires contractor to provide repair of the scaled concrete.

This opportunity is restricted to suppliers who qualify as a New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) Region Supplier.

Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, and the recommendation for Social Distancing, SaskPower is looking to limit the number of proponents at site at one time.

The Optional Site Meetings will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Power Station on May 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm CST. To this effect, SaskPower is proposing to split the visit to the work area in multiple slots if the number of vendors exceed 7 during this Optional Site meeting.

Please advise the Procurement contact, identified on the front cover page of this RFP, if you intend to attend the optional site meeting no later than May 8, 2020. SaskPower will be limiting the number of vendors at site to 7 or less. Due to the limit of 7, please send 1 (one) representative of your firm for the site meeting.

SaskPower intends to respond to Q&A at the end of visit by all vendors representatives as required to ensure that all proponents are aware of any clarifications to the Work.
