The Sunshine Bay Regional Park Maintenance Contractor (Contractor) performs a variety of activities related to the maintenance of the fields, irrigation system, beach area, washrooms, concession building and other related park works The work entails significant physical activity as the Contractor performs year round (including winter) inspection, maintenance and operational tasks. Reporting to the Regional Parks Manager (RPM) and in consultation with the Sunshine Bay Regional Parks Commission (SSBRPC), the Contractor has considerable independence of action in the disposition of routine work matters. The Contractor is to carryout the annual maintenance and project work, monitor park activities and promotion of the parks and trails within Sunshine Bay Regional Park. The Contractor will supply and keep in good working condition all equipment/machinery necessary for completion of park maintenance responsibilities as described in the Duties and Standards of Performance.
