The purpose of this RFP is to invite proposals from qualified companies to provide Services to assist the RDCK with upgrading CCTV systems at various locations throughout the RDCK.
No site visit is scheduled. The work is planned at a minimum of 3 RDCK transfer station / landfill sites throughout the RDCK from November 2019 through to December 31, 2020, however, additional sites may be added based on budget and project approvals. Inspection of Site .1 It is the Proponent's responsibility to be familiar with, and allow for, all site conditions including the location of the Work, local conditions, subsurface and topographical soil conditions, weather, access to the Work Site, all other site conditions which might affect the Work or the Proposal. In certain locations on the Work Site there are, or may be, existing structures and services and the Proposal price will be deemed to include the cost of working with these structures and services in place. There may be other Contractor’s working on the site during this RFP process. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure they do not enter any active work site or impact construction in progress. .2 The submission of a Proposal by the Proponent shall be deemed to be an acknowledgment that the Proponent has relied, and is relying, on its own examination of the Work Site, access to the Work Site, and all other matters related to the completion of the Work. .3 Every Proponent, by submitting a Proposal, will be deemed to have complied with these requirements. The Owner will not grant, and the Proponent will not be entitled to, any additional payments or extensions of time due to site conditions, which were, or would have been, reasonably foreseeable upon a proper inspection of the Work Site by the Proponent.
