The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is requesting Proposals from qualified
Consultants to complete a Landfill Criteria Conformance Review for the Creston Landfill.
Completion of the Conformance Review is a requirement under the new BC Landfill Criteria for
Municipal Solid Waste issued in June, 2016. This work is required by the Ministry of
Environment to be included within an upcoming amendment the RDCK Resource Recovery Plan
(SWMP). In addition to meeting provincial requirements, the Consultant’s work will provide
information to be used by the RDCK in strategic decision making regarding long term operation
of the site.
In addition to the Conformance Review, this solicitation may be used to select a Consultant for
future landfill engineering, design and construction consulting services with the need for these
services to be determined solely by the RDCK.
All amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued by the originator of the notice. MERX asks you to contact the buying agency directly for these amendments. MERX stipulates that potential bidders may also be required to register with the buying authority as a bidder/plan taker.
