The RDCK invites requests for proposals from established restauranteurs, food and concession operators, caterer operators and/or entrepreneurs in participating in an exciting opportunity to enter into an agreement to provide concession and food services in the Creston & District Community Complex. The facilities include 2 food service facilities – a well equipped concession booth on the main floor and an equipped catering kitchen on the second level next to the Creston Room.
The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is developing the Creston & District Community Complex (CDCC) as the premiere multi-use public health and wellness facility in the region. The CDCC serves patrons enjoying curling, lounge, ice hockey, figure skating, public skating, health and wellness programs, fitness centre, indoor track, group fitness studio, multi-purpose aquatic centre, 400 seat community room suitable for - banquets, tradeshows, meetings, varied recreation programming – physiotherapist office and special events. The CDCC is situated on 20 acres of land complete with a variety of athletic fields, horseshoe pits, beach volleyball courts, a playground and an active stand alone community hall facility (Rotacrest Hall).
The Complex has in excess of 200,000 visitors and patrons each year and is a major hub of community and regional activity.
The RDCK is seeking proposals for a Contract to commence on 01/10/2017 and end on 31/09/2019 for the provision of concession and food services.
