Description

This RFQ is an invitation to submit offers for the supply, delivery, and assembly (if required) of a new portable, handheld 3D scanner ("Scanner"). The selected respondent will also be required to provide training to selected RDC staff on using the Scanner, and maintenance and support services for the Scanner. The new Scanner is to be delivered to RDC in Red Deer, AB no later than March 31, 2021.

The Scanner will be used primarily in the Centre for Innovation in Manufacturing - Technology Access Centre housed in the School of Trades and Technologies, for scanning a variety of components to create digital images for educational and applied research purposes. The digital images may be post processed for reverse engineering, metrology analysis or manufacturing.
