Description

School District No. 62 (Sooke) invites expressions of interest from experienced childcare operators for
the use of Hans Helgesen’s Elementary School’s Multi-purpose room (113.5 square metres), library
(130.2 square metres), outdoor play area, and the school gymnasium (at times when it is available) to
provide before and after school care to children in kindergarten to Grade 5 beginning September 2025.
The lease rate is $825.00 per month for a program space for 24 childcare spots. This school has two
program spaces. This rate is inclusive of custodial and utility costs. These rates are subject to annual
review by SD62.
