Description

The Peace River Regional District is seeking proposals from suitably qualified consultants to provide a Design Study for Spencer Tuck Regional Park. The study shall evaluate the current setting, provide a phased plan for enhancing and updating the park, and consider current and projected needs and wants of the public to improve functionality and safety. As part of this project, the PRRD also requires an engineered evaluation of the existing boat launch resulting in a preferred option and costs to repair, replace, or remove. The PRRD is seeking a cost-effective, long-lasting solution to the existing boat launch that does not need to be identical to what is in place but also considers current and future use implications.

The study is to be completed, including final report submission and findings presentation to the Regional Parks Committee and/or the Board of the Peace River Regional District by January 2025.
