Description

1 - This RFP is open to all interested suppliers.
2 - The City of Calgary (“The City”) requests proposals for Vehicle and Equipment Towing Services to be operated by the Supplier for various requests throughout The City.
The City is seeking proponents capable of providing towing services to satisfy multiple City departments and associated agencies. These requirements are split into four (4) schedules:
•Schedule A - Calgary Police Service (CPS) and Calgary Parking (CP)
•Schedule B – Calgary Fire Department (CFD)
•Schedule C – Calgary Transit (CT)
•Schedule D – Fleet & Inventory (FI)
It is the intent of the City to award one proponent per schedule; however, multiple or all schedules may be awarded to the same highest rated proponent.
Proponents will be evaluated on their compliance with the specifications on Section 1 of Appendix G, which is applicable to all schedules, in addition to the relevant schedule specifications that the proponent intends to bid on.
3 - This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
4 - The Agreement will be for a initial term of two (2) year(s). The Agreement may be renewed, two (2) times for two (2) years each time, not to exceed a maximum of six (6) years
