Sealed tenders will be received by the City of Campbellton until 2:00:00 p.m. local time, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in the Bid Deposit Box located at the City Hall at 76 Water Street, Campbellton, NB, E3N 3G1 for the Project No. 6403-3, New Potable Water Reservoir, Campbellton, NB (Tide Head area).
Public opening of tenders will follow immediately after tender closing at the Campbellton City Hall.
In general, the Work consists of the design, supply and construction of a new above-grade 300,000 lmp gallons potable water reservoir. The City of Campbellton shall consider two (2) options, namely: Option 1 - Glass-Fused-To Steel Potable Water Storage Tank, AWWA D103 Type; Option 2 - Welded Steel Potable Water Storage Tank to AWWA D100 Type. Each option shall include but not limited to the supply and installation of safety equipment such as vertical and horizontal fall arrest systems, climbing
and rescue system, roof-top walkway, miscellaneous accessories and foundations.
Tender documents must be obtained only at the office of Boissonnault McGraw, 334 Dover Street, Campbellton, NB E3N 3M6, Tel.: (506) 789-1225 upon depositing the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) HST included, per tender set in the form of an etransfer, a CERTIFIED CHEQUE or CASH payable to BOISSONNAULT McGRAW. Cost of tendering documents is non-refundable. Bid documents will be on display at the offices of Boissonnault McGraw, the City of Campbellton and at the Construction
Association Offices of Moncton, Fredericton and Saint-John.
Only Bidders who have obtained the Tender Documents directly from Boissonnault McGraw shall be eligible to submit a tender for this project.
Tenders must be accompanied by the required amount of Security Deposit in the form of Surety (Bid) Bond in the amount of ten per cent (10%) of the tendered price. Surety (Bid Bond) shall be made payable to City of Campbellton.
General contractors are invited to attend a pre-tender meeting that will be held at 2:00 p.m. local time, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the council room of City of Campbellton's City Hall located at 76 Water Street, Campbellton, NB. This meeting is not mandatory.
The lowest/highest or any tender received by the City of Campbellton shall not be necessarily accepted. Execution of a Contract shall be conditional to available funding.
