Description

The Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the City of Cold Lake (“City”) for prospective transit proponents to submit proposals for the operation of its fixed route transit system called Cold Lake Transit. The Contract will include all operations of the public transit service including but not limited to:
• Bus Drivers;
• Provision and operation of end to end technology/software solutions for Fixed Route service that would provide for:
o Scheduling and Dispatch technology/software systems;
o Ridership and Performance reporting;
o In Vehicle Hardware and Passenger Information Systems
• Maintenance of all buses;
• Storage of two (2) in service busses, and two (2) backup busses in accordance with the terms and conditions identified in this RFP; and
• Other value-added additions as required by the City.
Proponents shall provide a comprehensive Service Delivery plan that fully describes how they will provide all aspects of the Service outlined in Part 3 – Proposal Submission Package of this RFP.
