Description

Forestry and Parks, Environmental Enforcement Branch will be conducting Chemical Immobilization of Wildlife certification training to conservation officers.

Training courses as described in this Request For Proposals are to take place in an agreed upon location at or near Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton areas.

Delivery of an in-person training of chemical immobilization of wildlife for approximately 20 staff. To certify all conservation officers, we will require:
1) One full 3-day course for up to 20 participants on a pre-agreed upon date in 2024-25 fiscal year.
2) Three 1-day recertification courses proposed on a pre-agreed upon date in 2024-25 fiscal year.
3) One full 3-day course for up to 20 participants on a pre-agreed upon date in 2025-26 fiscal year.
4) One 1-day recertification course for up to 20 participants on a pre-agreed upon date in 2025-26 fiscal year.
5) One full 3-day course for up to 20 participants on a pre-agreed upon date in 2026-27 fiscal year.
6) Three 1-day recertification courses proposed on a pre-agreed upon date in 2026-27 fiscal year.
7) Addition of full and recertification courses as described below in 2027-28 and 2028-29 fiscals, subject to extension of the contract term.
