The Ministry of Seniors, Community and Social Services (SCSS), Procurement & Resource Management, North Zone is seeking proposals from interested Proponents for the development and delivery of a Workforce Development Initiative.
Workforce Development projects will be targeting Clients within the Edmonton and surrounding areas who experience barriers to employment. The project will provide participants with employment development activities, work exposure, work maintenance and additional supports to address barriers and support effective labour market attachment. Projects will also work closely with employers providing Clients with work exposure and job connection.
For clarity, this EOI is a Grant selection process and is not intended to be considered a solicitation pursuant to Alberta Government’s Procurement and Sole Sourcing Directive or other trade agreement obligations. This EOI serves to provide grant funding to entities that align with the goal and intent of this initiative as determined at the discretion of the Province.
Proponents are invited to submit proposals for the provision of Workforce Development services in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions set out in this EOI.
Proponents are advised to pay careful attention to the wording used throughout this EOI. Failure to satisfy any term, condition or requirement of this EOI may result in rejection of the Proposal.
One or more Grants may be awarded as part of this EOI. Proponents wishing to submit proposals for multiple locations must submit a separate proposal for each community. SCSS seeks diversity and innovation in delivering these projects and SCSS will not award more than one Grant to a single provider.
