OVERVIEW:
The Moncton Fire Department (MFD), in partnership with the Office of the New Brunswick Fire Marshal, is seeking to purchase one (1) only latest model Portable, Solid-Sample Chemical-Identifying Spectrometer Unit, which MEETS OR EXCEEDS ALL OF THE MANDATORY TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS DETAILED HEREIN.
The successful Bidder will also be required to provide on-site product training and orientation for up to six (6) Moncton Fire Department employees in Moncton, N.B. The time, date and location of the training session(s) shall be mutually agreed upon by the successful Bidder and the MFD's designated representative.
A "HatMat ID" unit owned by the Office of the New Brunswick Fire Marshal is available for a trade-in allowance. The existing "HazMat ID" unit will be traded in on an "as is, where is" basis, with no warranty expressed or implied. Bidders MUST offer a trade-in value for the unit, and accept the above-mentioned terms of sale to be considered as a responsive Bidder.
The instrument must be delivered to the Moncton Fire Department (FOB Moncton, NB) ON OR BEFORE MARCH 31, 2023.
