Description

This is a Major Works contract offered for performance of the deactivation and rehabilitation of Forest Service Road (FSR) throughout the Columbia Zone of BCTS Okanagan-Columbia Business Area. This contract will be offered as an Option-to-Renew, with the goal to deactivate increasing lengths of FSR in ensuing years.

The purpose of this contract is to permanently deactivate or rehabilitate FSRs to meet the business goals of BCTS Okanagan-Columbia. Roads will be generally deactivated or fully rehabilitated (full decompaction and out-sloping) as per prescriptions, with approximately, but not limited to, 5km of general deactivation and 10km of full rehabilitation scheduled for the 2024 field season.
Contract deliverables will be planned for completion throughout the fiscal year to meet the business area quarterly targets.
