MA064 - Hog’s Back Swing Bridge Maintenance Services Contract (MA064)

DESCRIPTION:

The National Capital Commission (NCC) is seeking a contractor to perform all Maintenance services pertaining to the bridge systems of the Hog’s Back Swing Bridge with the objective of maintaining consistent quality standards.

The bridge systems need to be maintained in a safe and reliable operational condition and continually be available for operation during its mandated Navigational operating season. Any systems failures or malfunctions shall receive immediate repair.

TERM:

The term of the resulting Contract will be for a period of five (5) consecutive years commencing on May 15 and ending October 30 from 2023 to 2027.

The Contractor grants to the NCC the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to one (1) additional one-year period under the same terms and conditions.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT:

A MANDATORY site visit will be held on February 28, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (EST).

All costs incurred by the Bidder to attend the site visit will be at their expense. The NCC will not reimburse any Bidder for expenses related to the site visit.

Throughout the Invitation to tender/Contract process bidding process, the NCC shall endeavour to provide responses to inquiries (by the issuance of addenda) deemed relevant by the NCC and received in writing by the Contracting Authority. Only information provided in addenda shall be an integral part of the Contract and any resulting standing offer.

Interested proponents must not contact any other employee of the NCC, or other persons involved in this solicitation to discuss questions regarding the Contract process. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a proponent.
