Description

Supply Chain Ontario (SCO) of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (the Ministry), is seeking responses to a Request for Bids (RFB) for Dairy Products.

SCO on behalf of the Ministry establishes enterprise-wide Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangements for various commodities that may be accessed by the Ontario Public Service (OPS) and Provincially Funded Organizations (PFO) across Ontario.

The objective of the RFB is to establish an enterprise-wide VOR arrangement with multiple vendors for the supply and delivery of dairy products on an as-needed basis to support OPS ministries across Ontario.

The province has been divided into 16 zones, with the intention to award one vendor per zone for a potential maximum of 16 vendors across the province. It is possible that a vendor may be successful in more than one zone

Additional opportunities to allow price adjustments have been included within the Deliverables document to allow for changes in the cost of transportation, etc.
Scope of Work
Dairy products are goods consumed, or utilized, during operations for the health and well-being of individuals across the province. These goods are defined by three categories:

• Fluid milk;
• Cultured milk; and
• Ice cream.

Based on historical spend data, the total value of this procurement is estimated at $1.6M per annum. Bidders should note that the Ministry makes no guarantee of volume or work.
