Description

The ASEC is to be a world-class research facility which will provide federal scientists and partners with state-of-the-art space and equipment to collaborate on research opportunities, and to conserve and protect Canada’s coastal ecosystems and environments. The ASEC will bring together multi-departmental research activities under one roof, make aquatic science more accessible, promote ocean and freshwater literacy, promote community engagement and help train the next generation of Science.

This tender package is part of the Enabling Works required to facilitate construction of the new ASEC facility. Specifically this package is for the Earthworks and Exterior Improvements portion of the Enabling Works.

There will be a non-mandatory site visit scheduled for Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11am AST. Meet at the main entrance to Gulf Fisheries Building, 343 University Ave., Moncton. Please register in advance with Paul Stewart, Project Manager, at (709) 986-0788 or paul.stewart@pomerleau.ca. The bidder cannot visit site without pre-approval. The bidder assumes all responsibility for obtaining sufficient information and is fully content and satisfied that he/she has obtained full knowledge of all matters affecting the proper execution and completion of the work described in the specifications and/or drawings relating to the tender.
