Description:
York University is pleased to invite qualified proponents to submit a proposal for the combined PIV/PTV device to be housed in the hydraulic research lab of York University. The hydraulic facility at York University includes a 7-m long and 60 cm deep recirculating flume. The sides and the bed is supported by steel frames and composed of plexiglass. The acquired PIV/PTV system will be attached to this flume measuring flow velocity and recording microplastic contaminants injected to the flume. The budget for this system, including warranty, installation, and training, is approximately $200,000 CAD (exclusive of tax). The budget provided is for reference purpose only. The University reserves the right to award a contract at a lower or higher price.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.
