Description:
York invites qualified Proponents to submit Proposals for P24-054 Emergency Response and Disaster Clean Up Services.
York reserves the right to select up to four (4) Emergency Restoration Services Contractors (Vendor of Record) to respond to requests for various emergency clean up and restoration services as required at the Keele, Glendon and Markham campuses.
Selected Proponent(s) will be called to respond to emergencies as they arise during the contract term. York Representative may require job specific quotes prior to allotting the work to one or more Service Providers. Responsiveness to the request for cost/time estimate and field of expertise are determining considerations when allotting work. York reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select one (1) vendor to perform the work in instances where time is of the essence.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

Negotiation:
Following evaluation of all Proposals, it is York’s intention to enter into negotiations with the Proponent who offers the best overall value to York. During such negotiations, the scope of the Work may be refined, responsibilities will be delineated, implementation issues will be clarified and the final terms and conditions of any Agreement will be determined.
York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
