Description:

York is seeking qualified Proponent(s) to supply and deliver athletic apparel, accessories and related services for varsity teams, camps, programs, and retail operations. Deliverables include a combination of goods and services designed to support A&R’s operations and objectives. This may include but is not limited to:

Varsity On-Field Uniforms;
Varsity Athlete Package (Sideline & Training Clothing);
Varsity Practice Apparel;
Varsity Coaches Apparel;
Footwear;
Athletic & Recreational Staff Apparel;
Camp Participant Apparel;
Intramural Team Champions Apparel;
Retail Merchandise Supply;
Retail Merchandise Support;
Promotional Support;
Marketing Opportunities;
E-Commerce Support;
Camps and Intramural Programs Support;
Special Events Support.

The expected expenditure is in the range of $350,000 to $450,000 annually in a typical year with annual growth expected with the expansion of retail operations. The historical spend is an average and provided for reference only and should not be utilized as a minimum or maximum commitment.

York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

This procurement is covered by Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

Delivery Date:
Tentative contract start date November 1, 2021.

Duration of Agreement:
The initial term of the Agreement shall be for forty-eight (48) months, with one (1) optional twelve (12) month extension, for a potential Term of sixty (60) months.

Negotiation:
York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
