Description

The Department of Co-operative and Experiential Education (CEE) requires a traffic-management or queue-management solution to support the co-op interview process. CEE schedules and manages thousands of in-person co-op job interviews every term in the Tatham Centre building at the Waterloo Campus. During peak co-op interview periods, there are hundreds of candidates and employers on site at a given time, conducting dozens of concurrent interviews in tight, complex schedules. If interview-day service (IDS) operations fail for any reason, for example a service interruption or inclement weather, the schedule is thrown into disarray, recovery requires heroic manual effort, and both students and employers suffer.
