Background
The HoResearchGroup is interested in the design and characterization of innovative biomaterials and drug delivery platforms for the treatment and prevention of disease. This includes drug carrier systems in the nano-sized range such as polymeric nanoparticles, solid lipid nanoparticles, exosomes, micelles, etc. These systems will be evaluated in vitro and in vivo for biocompatibility, drug release/stability, cell targeting ability, and therapeutic efficacy.
The budget for this purchase is $130,000 CAD, plus HST.
