Description

he University of Waterloo Regenerative Nanomedicine Lab seeks to purchase a new metrology 3D measuring laser confocal microscope that could be used to analyze material surface and can be used as versatile material and surface characterization for high-throughput, efficient and high-speed characterization. This specific microscope for non-contact 3D imaging and measurements of surface features at 10 nanometer resolutions. High throughput cell-surface interaction screening platform developed by Yim lab necessitates the need for a robust and fast analysis tool to verify surface features before studying cellular interactions. This laser scanning microscope will be used to enable the team to create 3D maps of surface topographies, as well as 3D cell morphology on the screening platform in shorter time, which is necessary for high-throughput screening.
