Background

A major challenge currently facing all educational institutions is increased enrolments at a time when tuition fees and operating grants are highly constrained. We are looking to enhance our hands on learning experiences in the face of increased enrolment and striving to remain current in the technology to teach our students. We are looking to outfit 22 data collection stations focused on human biosignals.

For this RFP we are looking for 22 standalone bioamplifiers that have:

electrically isolated, high impedance differential input for safe recording of human subjects
AC coupling with capacity to also switch to DC coupling if necessary
4+ channel input
allows measurement of a wide variety of biological signals including surface recordings of electrocardiography (ECG), electromyography (EMG), and electroencephalography (EEG)
Controls allowing manipulation of:
- Gain – 10 – 50000X
- Bandpass filtering (Butterworth) with lowpass range (100 Hz – 50000 Hz) and highpass range (0.1 Hz – 100 Hz)
- DC offset if DC input used
Analog BNC output connection for voltage measurement
Adheres to CSA standards
