Description

P&CS’s current Contract Management solution is a document-centric system with minimal integration and notification/management capabilities. P&CS require a more complete, robust, and integrated Contract Management Solution to improve contract management capabilities on campus.

The current P&CS solution is a combination of OnBase as a repository for the contract documents, a manually maintained OnBase reminder system, and manual interfaces with the Unit4 financial system.

The P&CS group manage approximately 1000 contracts per annum. At any time, there could be approximately 3000 – 5000 contracts housed in the contract management system moving forward.

The newly implemented Rhapsody Integration Platform will enable IST to build and support real time integrations between any existing administration systems (e.g. Unit4) and any future Contract Management Solution. This will enable P&CS to focus on the options that meet their core processes and requirements when evaluating options with less emphasis on integrating with secondary systems.
