Proponents are highly recommended to attend the Bidder’s Briefing, which will take place on-site on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022, at 10:00:00 a.m. (local time) Proponents are requested to meet on site at the Gee-Gees Field located at 200 Lees Ave., Ottawa, ON K1N 6N5.
Any changes to the Mandatory Bidder’s Briefing date will be issued via addendum.
In response to the evolving and significant exceptional circumstance regarding the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 in Canada and internationally and the interest or the health and safety of the University Community while ensuring, to the extent possible, the continuity of University operations and activities, the University is open but has put in place temporary measures to manage situation and to be consistent with the advice of public health officials.
Such temporary measures may need to change and take immediate effects as Coronavirus COVID-19 situation evolves. Please consult the University’s website for updates.
The cooperation of contractors, consultants, suppliers and vendors is necessary as we try to maintain and pursue our projects and projects schedules in a safe and responsible manner.
The University is following recommendations and directives of public health officials which, at this time, include such things as the following:
- If you are sick, stay home
- Monitor your health for fever, cough or difficulty breathing
- Self-isolate for 14 days if:
- You have travelled anywhere outside of Canada (including the United States of America)
- You live with, provide care for, or spent extensive time with someone who has.
- Tested positive for COVID-19, OR is suspected to have COVID-19, OR
- Who has respiratory symptoms (fever, cough, or shortness of breath) that started within 14 days of travel outside of Canada,
- No greetings involving handshake or touching,
- Regular handwashing or use of an alcohol hand sanitizer,
- Cover your face with the bend of their elbow or a tissue if they cough or sneeze,
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth unless you have just washed your hands with soap,
- Disposal of tissues properly in waste bins,
- Respect social distancing guidelines – at least one meter apart,
To vendors, we remind you that you are responsible for the health of your employee, subcontractors and representatives and for informing them of the requirement to follow the above and any other direction, instruction or measure communicated by us or by public health officials while on the University premises.
