PURPOSE
In the fall 2016, the University of Ottawa has successfully went through a major organizational and operational transformation associated with the implementation of a new Student Information System (SIS) along with related systems. Since then, the University has undertaken enhancement initiatives to support other functionalities within its successful integration with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. One of this initiative is the solution for Web Single Sign-On (Web SSO).
DELIVERABLES
The Provider, GreyHeller will provide Single Sign-On Module (GHSSO) is a product uniquely positioned to meet the functionality and security requirements of the University of Ottawa’s (uOttawa) complex PeopleSoft (uoCampus) environment. Because GHSSO is a security solution tightly coupled to PeopleSoft, it understands different types of PeopleSoft content and run inside the PeopleSoft web application. This integration provides a complete solution for Web Single Sign-On (Web SSO) into the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions application ONLY.

GreyHeller has been identified to our knowledge as the only provider which meets the requirements and can deliver the product and services. The product that they offer, the GHSSO solution is patent-pending and provides exclusive ability to integrate PeopleSoft Campus Solutions directly with SAML identity providers. Our research has not provided alternative solutions that natively support SAML Web SSO into PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
