Description

Background and Purpose

McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of a BI Senior Consultant in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals. Bidders must quote the entire bid. Partial bids will not be accepted. The Office of Institutional Research and Analysis is looking for a senior personnel who meets all the evaluation criteria to implement Oracle BI Applications 11g, 12c, and OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) that has multiple heterogeneous data sources including PeopleSoft 9.2 (Finance, HR and Campus Solution) among the primary data sources. The scope of work also includes customization and extension of the Oracle Business Analytics Warehouse (OBAW) and integration of all source systems to OBAW. The BI Senior Consultant is responsible for working with the in-house BI team, stakeholders and other support units to implement Oracle BI Applications on time, within budget and as per defined requirements. The BI Senior Consultant will fill the gaps in technical and functional skills of the in-house implementation team, and will play key role in the sustainability and success of the BI projects through high quality deliverables, good documentation and knowledge transfer. This person is required to be working onsite at least one day per week.

Term

The term of this agreement is for an initial term of one (1) year with an option to renew for up to an additional two (2) years to be renewed on a yearly basis as required, at McMaster’s sole discretion. The anticipated start date of the contract is November 7, 2022 subject to change at McMaster’s sole discretion.
